From January 4th to the 8th, the Sales Force from Ireland comprised of 11 salespeople, visited Chile for the first time, after successfully achieving the number of cases sold.
The group visited MontGras and Ninquén in the renowned Colchagua region, the beautiful coast in Viña del Mar and Valparaíso, as well as the modern capital city of Santiago.
They enjoyed our privileged climate and above all, the exquisite MontGras sun.
We were delighted to spend time with them and hope to receive a new group next summer.

“…Our favorite bottle also happened to be, at $9, …a 2005 Viña MontGras Reserva. This is an astounding value, a fresh, lively wine with balanced, lingering flavors of ripe plums, flowers and spices…By contrast, our N°2 was, at $70, our second most expensive bottle, the 2003 Clos Apalta from Casa Lapostolle..."

Wine panel: Eric Asimov, Florence Fabricant, Christy Canterbury, beverage director of Culinary Concepts by Jean-Georges, and Andrew Fortgang, who recently left his post as beverage director at Craft in New York to become the sommelier at Le Pigeon in Portland, Oregon. 25 bottles tasted.
